About me

I am all about wine: sommelier, wine lover, wine educator.
I am a wine enthusiast since I am in legal drinking age. While enjoying good wine, I always was hungry for learning wine making and wine culture, aroma and taste variations, grape and climate and so on.
PhD in molecular biology, and many years of doing scientific research in biology and genetic (yes, I do know a lot about GMO) allow me think deep and clearly understand biological and chemical mechanisms of vine growing and wine making.
Years of teaching university students gave me capability to extract information, organize it, and present it clear and condensed in a form interesting even for teenagers with short attention span.
Being a serious photographer, I believe in my ability to find interesting and unusual views on every subject.
Now, naturally alloying these four quarters of my nature - loving wine, methodical scientific approach, teaching wording, and artistic views, I became a wine professional, advanced sommelier certified by United State Sommelier Association. I welcome you to join me in journey to World of Wine, to a beautiful world, full of pleasant surprises.
The ways to go to this amazing world you can find here, and you can learn more from my articles here.
